Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in the combat sports. Aspen Ladd started training in kickboxing, BJJ, wrestling and boxing before her debut as an amateur at WCFC at the age of 18. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya in the third round in UFC at ESPN 7. In a match that was a replacement to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
